Polyimide (PI) tape is widely recognized for its high temperature resistance, electrical insulation, and chemical durability. While the classic PI tape is an amber or golden-brown color, manufacturers now offer it in black, green, and even transparent variations. But does the color affect its performance—or is it purely for visual purposes?

• Amber/Golden: The natural color of polyimide film without additional pigments.
