Green high-temperature tape is essential in the production of printed circuit boards (PCBs).

PCBs are fundamental to modern electronics, and their manufacturing involves high-temperature processes like soldering, reflow, and wave soldering. During these processes, sensitive components and specific areas of the PCB must be shielded from heat, solder splatter, and contamination.

Green high-temperature tape, capable of withstanding temperatures exceeding 260°C, is ideal for these applications.

The tape is used to mask off areas that should not be exposed to solder, such as connectors or gold-plated contacts. Its adhesive properties ensure it remains firmly in place during high-temperature exposure, preventing solder bridging or short circuits.

Additionally, the tape is resistant to chemicals used in PCB cleaning processes, ensuring it does not degrade or leave residue.

Its flexibility allows it to conform to the intricate shapes and patterns of modern PCBs, providing precise protection where needed. In multilayer PCB manufacturing, green high-temperature tape is also used to secure layers during lamination.

The tape’s heat resistance ensures it can endure the high pressure and temperature of the lamination process without melting or losing adhesion. Overall, green high-temperature tape is an indispensable tool in PCB manufacturing, ensuring the reliability and quality of electronic devices.
